2 phase stepper motors consist of a stator and rotor with 8 magnetic poles, with small receptor teeth and 4 leads. The coils inside are either of bipolar or unipolar setup. The rotor aka the shaft numbers in 1-2 per set up.
How it operates
2 phase stepper motors operate as a single loop setup with electromagnets on the stationary portion surround the stator (aka the motor) emit a series of pulses instead of a constant stream of electrical current to achieve rotation.
